Exercise 4-proximity and repetition 

Set Exercise 4 – Proximity & Repetition Exploiting the principles of proximity and repetition, and the assets provided, create designs for a visual identity for a furniture workshop, CedarWheel.
• You must use the logo and the copy as given on each of the stationery pieces
• You must use the stationery dimensions as given
• You can use one or more or none of the three images supplied
• You can create more than one set of stationery
​• Try to use InDesign or Illustrator to compose your final stationery, though you can use Photoshop to manipulate the images.

I started by looking at stassney kites so i had idea were i could tack this task. The images I chose were more focused on the type more than the imagery.  I rather like how like how the layouts are spread out i think i an going to try and implanted this in my  stance kit.

I then moved onto put some  thunmails to paper so when I come to the computer it would quick and simple to put it together.

For this design i tried grouping the texted together on the business card were as on the  letterhead and the small letter head. I choose to space the text out  to created scribble space on the paper. I choose to keep the logo reasonable small as i didn't want it to de the main focus. I added a black bar at the top of the layouts thinking it would ad something however i feel it just gets lost. the page and might as well get rid of it.  I think my choice of type works well as it is clear and legible however I might drop the size of it.

for these layouts I choose to try and have  a more condest look to the texted. I feel it is there however it as oveses as I think it. I think i could get rid of the colour bar as I feel it  is a dit of a distraction on the layout. i prefer the color logo as I think stands out dit more for its small size.  I think my choice of typeface works  well as it has a formal quality to it  how ever i thnk i could drop the size of it. I also think work on the ailment of the text as I think it is quite there.

I choose to carry to the compacted look on in this layout design. I rearrange the texted adit  so there's more alimented in the layouts. I choose to do a double sided business card so it wouldn't look so bisives on one side also so it wouldn't have a blank surface. I feel the reputation is clear through the kit I also think this  kit has worked the best out of the three and is the most likely to de carry on to developed on wages.

This is my final design I choose to added colour to my text to show the hierarchy. I used the shame colour of the logo to create a style in a way. I think it work quite well the colour with text as it qordentes with the logo. I choose to use design 3 as I liked how it was laid out. I think keeping the layout  simple works well for the style i chose to go with as I wanted to focus on the type more. I  think I have created a good amount of white space which creates a good balances which also give it a good scridel space.
